My algorithm for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was somewhat successful. I learned that i had to be more specific with my algorithm. For example when i mentioned to use a toaster i made a syntax error and i should have stated to plug in the toaster which the computer then didn't and i also should've said that i needed to open the peanut butter jar, along with the jelly jar. This taught me that computers will do exactly what you tell them to do. Something that stood out to me is my recipe is sequential and sequential means a logical order. How i know my recipe is sequential, is that the order of steps made sense. For example before spreading peanut butter and jelly on the bread i first toasted it. Step 3 was a perfect example of a repetition, i repeated a step but with a different variable. i used somewhat of a conditional statement in step 2. For example i said put two piece of bread into the toaster for warm bread. i could've have added if you don't want warm bread move on to the next step. One thing i noticed was that the computer learned from it's previous mistakes and things that weren't as specific in the recipe were debugged on its own.
